How worried do I need to be about neighborhood cats getting into my garden?

How do I keep then at bay nicely and humanely???

A quick Google search found many answers on how to keep cats out of your garden.

This article has some easy, natural ways to deter them

I was just reading an article related to this that gives some good tips. It's at http://blogs.dogster.com/good-dog/my-dog-eats-bird

If you choose to use a commercially-prepared mulch as a deterrent, either use one that's mentioned there or another one that does not have pesticides in it. There is a product out there that smells like chocolate, marketed to keep cats away. It is toxic to dogs and cats both, because it has actual chocolate in it (which is highly toxic).

Hope this helps!
