There are many unique dogs to choose from but it all depends on the use for your dog. A toy dog that will get you a double take is the Chinese crested. This dog is known for its hairless appearance. If you are looking for a unique hearding dog the Aussie is great. Many Austrailian Sheep Dogs are born with one blue eye and one brown eye.

I actually just got a Catahoula Leopard Dog. It looks similar to the Australian Sheep dog, however, it has short hair. Very unique looking large breed dog.
