As children, many are taught to feel shame at normal responses. Do you feel ashamed? When? How?

Assuming you mean "ashamed" and not "embarassed" I feel ashamed when I say something nasty toi someone who was not being nasty towards me first, doing something wrong, or failing in school.

If you were honestly expressing yourself, you have nothing to be ashamed about.
You can vote each answer up or down to show your support or disapproval. You cannot flag an answer, but if an answer receives enough down votes compared to up votes, then it will become hidden.
