There is a VERY small amount of gold on Processors. It can be recovered but i think it costs a lot more than the value of the gold itself.

Gold is used in USB Flash Drives as well as other instruments.

Sometimes some, but very little. If there is, it is usually on the contacts (fingers) where the board plugs into a socket. It would be only a very thin flash coating on very limited areas. Not enough for YOU to do anything with. I have heard that tons of old boards are shipped to China or some other third-world places to be mass processed for recovery, but not sure of that or the economics.

There is very little gold on the contacts where the board plugs in. However, if the board was inserted and removed a lot, not even that is there. Not worth the effort because the gold is industrial grade and low value to begin with.
