1What were you doing when you got the news about Michael Jackson?
I first heard that he was still alive, he just had a heart attack. Then I see in my friend's status RIP Michael Jackson. So I was online at home finishing up an article. To me, it's sad but I haven't been a big fan of his since I was a little girl.

I was in Wal-Mart shopping. My daughter got a text message from a friend that told her, very shortly after it happened. You could hear cell phones ringing all over the store and people gasping and remarks such as "No way" or "You have got to be kidding." Then they would tell the people who were with them, and the people near them would hear and soon it seemed the whole store was talking about it. Some people were even crying!

I had shopped and was putting the bags on the table when I was told the news.
I was surprised and waited with CNN to see if maybe Michael Jackson was just in a coma. When CNN announced it I still could not believe it.
I went and to the Victory tour and saw Michael Jackson perform with his brothers. The show was electrifying.
I wrote a blog as I watched CNN and Larry King Live well into the night as celebrities called in and fans celebrated his life at UCLA Medical Center and the Apollo.
Here it is http://hubpages.com/hub/Michael-Jackson-Gone-But-H The topic of the article is different from the URL and I intened to write that Michael Jackson's music will live on.

Is Michael Jackson STILL dead?
Dammit.
I've been asking that question every day, but I still get the same answer. He really is dead and still dead as of Thursday. I've been writing articles about him to ease my loss, but It just still hasn't hit me that he's gone.

I was at work. Just surfing the internet then i saw a local televison's website with this big title about Michael Jackson. I was shoked. First I thought it is about a joke about Michael. This was the first thing in my mind. It is a joke. My mind just refused to believe and made this thought. But after reading the article i saw some movies. I opened my messenger and started asking everione if this is true. Unfortunately it was true.
Rest in peace Michael. You loved us with your heart, we will keep you in ours.

One of my friends told me about it at our local sprinkler park. She was sitting next to a girl and overheard her mention it. I couldn't believe it til my mom called and told me about it too. My hub about it is http://hubpages/hub/Shock--Rage--Sorrow.

It was early in the morning here in Manila. I was checking my Gmail, and first saw a breaking news alert that Farrah Fawcett had died, and then another alert that Michael Jackson had been rushed to the hospital. You can imagine my shock. I went to Twitter and Plurk to check, and was updated on the news.
Michael Jackson was dead.
Just like that.
I wrote a Hub about his death -- my first Hub: http://hubpages.com/hub/Michael-Jackson-Mourning-h Hope you could read it when you have the time and let me know what Michael and his music meant to you.
Rest in peace, Michael.
