38If some people are not married, but love each other, wouldn't it be appropriate that they be friends
Since marriage was instituted in order to safeguard the proper raising of children and is biologically logical, gay, lesbian, adulterers, etc. can not qualify, or else damage the institution of marriage. If sexuality is not confined within marriage wouldn't sex acts outside of marriage just be called "sensuality" instead of sexuality?

People who love each other should marry. Friends who do not love each other should not get married.

for all,
the definition of sex within marriage is whether the couple are in fact in love and has no bearing on the gender of the couple. since civil gay unions are just now being recognized in some states, it is up to the couple to define their marriage, or to allow someone in their community to help them to decide that when lovers are in fact, in love, no outside influence may tear the doors down between the two lovers. Nothing in life may succeed against the gift of God, which is love.
Be gentle, be kind, accept who you are and no one elses perception of how you "should" be. Your love is santifying for you and your partner. It is the natural way of being.

Well if someone knows the definition of morals then they would know that sex is sex. There is not justification for having sex outside of the marriage. Your vows basically say that you two are one and to be dedicated to each other. There is no in between.
