Actually, they can be leashed trained, and trained to do many other things. Obviously you're the one that is ignorant on the subject of New Zealand White Rabbits. So next time you read something and you're not educated on the subject, don't comment and make a fool of yourself.

Some things are meant not to happen. A rabbit is not intended to be leash trained. In fact, it will probably just chew through any leash you try to use. Wrong choice of a pet for training. I suppose you are like many pet owners in that you also try to put clothes on them. Why would you want to leash train a rabbit?
