Girl, you have to go to you gynecologist to have these types of questions answered. In a general way you have to wait until your period starts and then start taking the pill, at least for the pills that come in 28 pills blisters.

If what you are trying to do is to get a contraceptive method for the next few days you cannot get it just starting to take the pill. Rather you have to ask your partner to use a preservative. Or you have to wait until you have a proprer contraceptive method working.

As far as I know, iPill has nothing to do with ur periods. It is an emergency contraceptive pill, just in case u have had unprotected intercourse. This pill has to be taken within 72 hours of intercourse. Results vary on , when the pill is taken within the prescribed time limit, means as soon as u take it , the pill is more effective. Also remember, this is not an abortion pill and regular use should be avoided.
