I think I would live in California, in a house overlooking the ocean, like in Cambria. It would have to be set up in a way that I can travel anytime and as long as I want to, and then I would be traveling for long stretches and totally enjoy coming back to my beautiful house with the wonderful view.
I can see the living room with the panoramic windows!

Right where I'm at, LOL! Just moved here and getting to know the area. In the future, Hawaii or Peru. No if for me - just gonna travel. Yippee! Probably write hubs about the places too.

Interesting answers so far :). I would live in Aruba or St. Maarten (the Dutch side) for most of the year. Living on either island or both would be fine with me (even though I would probably lean more toward Aruba). I wouldn't have to live on the beach; I would be very happy with living close to it so I could go for a nice long walk on the beach whenever I wanted to.

I like beaches and provincial parks. So I would buy a house along the lake near a park so I could kayak or bike to it. One of my hobbies is to bike and hike in provincial parks while taking pictures of the animals and scenery. After I am done hiking and biking I relax at the beach. If I lived near the water I could go by boat sometimes.

I would live on an island with a beachfront home so that I could see the ocean all day every day. (and night too) It's a dream of mine.
