Will You forgive a Cheating Wife

If I were a man I wouldn't. Whats to say she wouldn't do it again?

Before truly answering that question, I'd have to ask whats your particular definition of "forgiveness". In my conversations with friends, family members, acquaintances, etc. on the subject, I've found a disturbing trend of the likelihood that more often than not, people are accustomed to believing that "forgiveness" is in fact giving the party accused of betrayal if you will, another chance...

As in another chance to repeat the same act that caused for so much pain, resentment and distrust. Which, is perfectly fine if any particular person believes that forgiveness means just that. Yet, I personally believe forgiveness to an extent should be an internal process, that culminates in one moving on from said ordeal to encourage healing and growth to get ones self back on track in their life. I think saying the words, "I forgive you", to someone is needed whenever it "feels" right of course, but I believe it should be done for ones own sense of moving on and recovering from the pain that was dealt to them. Saying that you forgive someone for the sake of them having yet another chance to cherish, nourish and appreciate what they should have in the first place? Sorry...I'm just personally inclined to disagree with that idea. I'll forgive eventually, but by the time I do, the "cheater" in question will be just a distant memory. Or at least I'd hope she would be.

Well it depends if they are showing you that they are sorry or not if they say they are sorry but you think they are not then dont.
