Loading... Is 100 hubs good enough for us to earn 10 dollars per day on hubpages?
That is what I have in mind, after 100 hubs then I will stop and waiting to collect the daily income.

It's mainly a quality over quantity issue, as I could write a hundred Hubs about social networks over and over, and 10 dollars a day would suit me fine! In a year, that's $3650 dollars, and don't forget that's on top of your job (if you're employed). It's nowhere near enough Hubs, and again, it's a matter of views not how many things you make. As chuckbl advised, do something you enjoy, not what's popular. Because making something popular just makes you fill up background space. Do something unique or again - something you enjoy - and you'll stand out. Also, have an opinion, ask questions, engage people - it's the way to go in nearly any business like this.

I think it depends on the hubs quality. I have 117 hubs and average around $3 per day. Although some of my hubs have hit the 1st page of Google most of the stuff I write about is economics and forex and there are literally millions of thos types of articles on the net. You need a few articles which are unique but people still would be interested in searching for such information.

It isn't really a question of how many hubs you write, although it is worth noting, that the more hubs you write the more chance of success you give yourself, but further to this, and more importantly, you need to write hubs that are very attractive to search engines. If you can organically get thousands of views a day on just one hub, then you will begin to get a good income. You can write just one amazing article and that could make you 10 dollars a day. The potential is almost limitless... but as I said, only very few achieve that so 100 hubs should be enough as long as you ensure that they are well written and what people are searching for.
Note: don't just write on a popular subject like facebook (I have done this) - it won't get views, or is very unlikely to because a thousand other people have done the same thing, find a niche that you like, or something which is popular and twist it into your own direction whilst making sure that people search for what you are writing about.
It is hard work, but making money always is, keep at it and you'll get there. Remember: quality over quantity! (Write 50 great hubs rather than 100 average hubs and you will do better.)

I've noticed that the one hub I wrote about an unpopular engagement ring designer has gotten nearly 20 google views per day

I agree, it's not quantity, but quality. And even at that, the more page views does not always mean more $$. I had a hub that was getting 300-400 views aday, but still only making few cents each day, sometimes nothing.
