Loading... Where do you put links that search engines require you to post when you submit your hub?
I have placed several hubs into a search engine and they are asking (some requiring) that I put their link on my page. Where do I put it? Right now it is on my profile, which seems to appease them for now. But I won't put 20 links on my profile for each search engine that requires it. Where would you put their link?

You can add links to Twitter and Facebook on your page where you see the icons. You could also add a link in the 'body copy' to another page on another website such as Google 'blog' pages or a website of your own (I have a link with my Northworld Saga Site on Webeden on a page dedicated to it to encourage visitors, for example.

I'd get rid of that link on your profile - it looks spammy. There is no need to submit your links to search engines, and certainly no need to get a third party to do it.
If you want to make sure your hub gets indexed quickly you can use a ping service such as pingler, tweet your hub and get a few good quality links to it. That's really not necessary either though as the search engine bots are constantly crawling hubpages.

I believe hubs are automatically listed on major search engines.

If I understand you correctly, you have tried to register a hub with a search engine. That search engine is asking you to put "their" link somewhere in your work.
I suppose you could incorporate it in your profile, but I don't think you should be allowing search engines to back link through your hubs.
All of your hubs are listed at the bottom of the profile. You shouldn't have to list them? I think that what you are doing is appropriate and will satisfy the search engine into the future. I would, however, check out the search engine to see what its status is? I have never had the problem you describe - could the search engine be worth back linking to?
I would like to look further at your profile and go to some of your hubs to make sure I understand you, but my browser is being finicky and unresponsive to more open windows. Good luck, and I will post again if I read that there is a taboo on putting certain links in the profile.
