Why do tall guys date shorter girls and overlook the tall girls?

I'm 5' and it was always the basketball players in high school and college asking me out. I'm not really sure why. I ended up marrying an amazing man who is 6'4". I don't know why the tall guys like me.

That´s not the rule. Some guys prefer shorter girls, even if they are tall.
