Loading... Your answer is too short. Please make it longer
Why are we not allowed to give short answers/replies to questions asked. Sometimes less is more. Sometimes saying something precise and to the point says it all. So why can't our answers be allowed to be short as well as long?

Hello singleaple! The reason that answers are required to be of a certain length is because the whole point of the questions section on HubPages is to get readers to leave long answers and ultimately, write a Hub article that answers the question in great detail. Anything that requires a brief opinion or short answer should be posted in the forums section of HubPages where there is virtually no length limit to your responses. I hope this answers your question!

Yes, it's a joke really when you consider that some of the questions only require a yes or no answer.

Longer answers are likely to be filled with much information, while short answers usually aren't, though sometimes the answer to a question can simply be yes or no.
Please vote up an answer if it adds to the discussion, or vote it down if it does not. You cannot flag an answer, but if an answer receives enough down votes compared to up votes, then it will become hidden.
