John Romita Jr and Alex Ross are so good! Rob Guillory is awesome. But most of all Andy Kubert, whose work on the Origin of Wolverine made me stare at the pages way longer than I normally do.

Definitely Will Eisner, Robert Crumb, and Scott McCloud. Tatsumi is also a favorite as his scenery and attention to detail is amazing.

Zadie Smith is my favorite writer. I read "White Teeth" years ago, yet the characters live in my memory. I envy her abilities.
