There are many answer to your question. Here are some that I can recommend
1. Get someone to help. I believe there are company that have services that help you to do that. Just pay them a small amount of fees and they will be happy to convert for you
2. If you want to DIY, then u need to buy some equipment. here what you can do. Buy a DVD recorder, connect your analog camcorder to you dvd input and start recording.
alternatively, get yourself a USB video capture device for you pc and you can start converting. The device should come with the necessary software for all the conversion

I believe you can type this question into the E-How site and will find an answer. I recently learned from them how to transfer films from my old camera to my computer. However, my old camera is digital. Good luck with your search.
