Are any of you effected by stresses impact on the Adrenal Gland? If so, how are you treating it?

I put on weight, became depressed, and have been constantly feeling exhausted or lethargic. I sought the aid of a homeopath MD and have begun treatment... but ideally he believes I need less stress. How is that possible?

Exercise is an important stress reliever.

Twenty minutes of exercise 3 -4 times a week will decrease this demand placed on the adrenal glands.

In addition, you need to supplement your diets with magnesium and multivitamins and minerals.

Adrenal Stress is a life changing challenge. I have found taking high dosages of Vitamin B's and C has helped me out when I am stressed out. Instead of coffee I drink Techino coffee, a good substitute - it is alkalizing and no caffeine. Hot baths with epsom salt and lavendar work well after a hard day at work. A couple of good adrenal support herbs I found were Adrenal Stressend and Holy Basil.

Your MD is right, you need to take a good look at what is stressing you out and make some changes. Yoga, meditation, exercise or stress management classes.

Feel better. . .
