Can a tory goverment, solve the problems we are facing in the UK?

With all the mess that has been going on with the political parties recently, I'm just curious who people think would be best to lead the country. Apart from the recession i think people have benefited over the last 10 years. And despite all the negative press this government gets I'm not sure a Tory government would do much better, after the state they left this country in before, its true David Cameron is more media friendly and gets his views across well while Mr Brown doesn't but he gets on with the job, is he a safe pair of hands and who do we trust him or Cameron. Well the Tories have a royal lineage. But you cannot be sure as to how well they will do when they form the government. It is easy to raise a voice but difficult to execute what you opine. So even i think it is probable that with a new government situation cannot be improved. what is required is economic repair. no matter who forms the government, if there are proper policies of revival, things can fall into place. It is seen once power is in your hands, you tend to pull back the reigns. Power devors intellect and that is ruining us. we forget government is only an institution but run by men. But only if they think in terms with the common man, issues can be resolved. And i guess this will once again take centuries to come.

Obviously not. This economic crisis is a crisis of the capitalist system, just like the crises before it. It will end eventually, leaving millions of people unemployed, hundreds of thousands bankrupt and/or homeless and will see the rise of the far-right, racism and anti-immigrant sentiment. The only way to avoid these things is to leave behind the anarchy of the market and to put in place a democratic system of production, where people decide what is manufactured, not profit.
