how do you get into designing cloths when you are 13 ?

hi there, dakota, i really got into designing clothes at your age, too. start out sketching the outlines, you can also choose fabrics that would make a good pattern for the outfit that youn are currently sketching. if you don't know how to sew, i suggest that you learn, but there are always people that you can pay to sew your creations together for you, and if you get them sized correctly, you'll be wearing your own designs!

Hi Dakota! When I was your age I would design clothes too. First I started drawing on paper what my designs would look like, so if you are a good drawer that's a good way to start. But for me it was easier to actually start sewing the fabrics together to make the clothes. To learn how to sew you should look for local sewing classes or do it the old-fashioned way of learning from your grandma or any other older person. To get materials find a neighborhood discount fabric store where you can get everything you need(fabrics, needles, patterns, stuff like that). I hope I answered your question. Good luck! :)
