I am not sure you should. Young lawyers have to be very focussed.

If being a lawyer is what he wants, then he has to hit the books. He needs to argue and discuss with other arrogant young people. He needs stress and adrenalin.

There are a few individuals who are serene and content being lawyers, but that normally only happens about 10 years after qualifying - if it happens at all.

During exam and term paper time don't bug him with your personal needs and wanting to show support. Go visit your sister and come back after the exams.

When he has nothing else to do he will have time for you.

I am afraid a lot of lawyers end up divorced - and we cannot work out why.

Well yes i agree he does need to hit the books but you can help i guess by supporting him.

i also think that when he does have time for you, that you can just go out and have a nice time together and just do something that you both enjoy doing. and then when he has to study again just accept that this is what he wants to do and just look forward to next time, well that's what i would do anyway :) i hope you can firgure something out even if my advice hasn't helped x

You can vote each answer up or down to show your support or disapproval. You cannot flag an answer, but if an answer receives enough down votes compared to up votes, then it will become hidden.
