I am in favor of Cremation. The soul goes on living, only the body dies. When the Lord returns we will be given new bodies.

The Bible tells us that when God's plan for the ages is complete and all evil is eliminated, we will be given new bodies -- bodies that will be like Christ's body after His resurrection. The Bible doesn't say exactly what they will look like, but our new bodies will no longer be subject to sickness or pain or death, and we will be able to serve God in ways we never could have imagined. The Bible says that on that final day "the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed" (1 Corinthians 15:52).

I am completely in favour of cremation. The amount of land the world over given to burying dead bodies is shockingly wasteful and so is the ridiculous amount of money spent on the overpriced wooden boxes used to bury them in. Ashes can also be buried using up a lot less space if that is what a family wishes to have - a specific resting place they go to visit their dearly departed - or the ashes can be scattered in a favourite place of the deceased.

GOD said for dust you are to dust you will return, it doesn't matter whether a person is buried or cremated. Cremation is just a faster way of becoming dust again!
