Did Barack Obama overstep his bounds by commenting too quickly.

All the facts have not been revealed yet , and what is the best course of action regarding Professor Gates, President Barack Obama comments and the police officer side of the events. Is it justifiable to get arrested in your own house?

Yes he did. It's hard when you see something you're passionate about, to wait. He also pushed the race card, as President. That's very telling to me, and unfortunate. I hope he continues to work hard and lead us well.

If he was white, his comments wouldn't have caused the furor that they did. He made a very valid point and the disgrace of someone being arrested in their own home without having broken any laws has been largely ignored because of the debate over what Obama said.
