Where's the best places to move in Tenn. for work ?

Was diganosed with a rare spine disease and theres only 3 doctors that treat it in the U.S. So me and the family has to move to Tenn. Either Knoxville or around Nashville. My hubby is in constution and not sure which area would be the best for jobs and low housing costs. If you have any insight it sure would be appreciated. Thanks !!!
