I believe it is because chocolate releases some sort of chemical in your brain that makes you feel "loved". I think it is either serotonin or dopamine. Women seem to "need" to feel loved more than men do. Now don't get all excited you men out there reading this, I know you need love too - I'm simply stating that women seem to have a stronger need for it overall.

yes that is right. it is a chemical thing. apparently it releases the same hormone as sex does in women

true, chocolate does release some of the same chemicals that are release during sex, i think the reason we prefer the chocolate is because it doesnt bitch and moan when we dont want to put it in our mouths...
