Finland was long emerged under a sheet of ice. When the ice sheet began to retreat at the end of the Ice Age, at around 11,000 years ago, Finland began to emerge. This process is ongoing because the ice is still retreating. Finland rises between 8 and 31 inches per one hundred years.

You have counted the lakes.There must have been a mistake in your counting,here in India the lakes dry up and politicians inform garbage contractors to dump garbage in dried up lakes and tell slum dwellers to build houses and land expands.We had more than 200 lakes in Bangalore to day its less than 30.All lakes are with politicians.
