Technically you can republish all of your works to Hubpages. However, this is bad form because Google doesn't like duplicate content. Your articles will actually be "punished" in search rankings because there are two of them. It is better to rewrite your work and use the knowledge that you have while creating a whole new piece!

Yes and no. If the republished version is too close to the original, you will get a HubPages "duplicate content" penalty. Also, Google may not show one or the other for a given searcher keyword.

You will have to rewrite enough to make them distinct enough to not trigger that penalty.

If HubPages doesn't flag you for duplicate content, Google will likely also find it OK.
