Ten important sights of Bali can be named as (1) Ubud- Center of Balinese painting, (2) Kuta- a popular tourist resort, (3) Nusa Dua- a tourist resort in Southern Bali, (4) Tanahlot- a Sea temple on a huge rock which is surrounded by the Sea, (5) Batubulan – Stone figures on the road side of the village Batubulan, (6) Gianyar- Capital of Bali’s old Kingdom, (7) Pura Besakih- Mother of Temple of Bali, (8) Terraced rice of paddies- a Scenic beauty in between Candidasa and Amlapura, (9) Pura Kehen- Heart of Bangli’s temples. A huge banyan tree shades the courtyard – a beauty to see, (10) Gunung Batur- a volcano, which is revered by the Balinese as the sacred mountain on the island.
