to validate vista, you need to buy a product key from microsoft , and the key you get would have to be for the version of windows vista installed on your computer, then you can then go to computer and click on system properties in the top taskbar, then you click on activate Windows vista now in the dialog that it shows you, you can either validate it online or you can validate it by phone. various phone numbers are provided for different countries. hope u find this information helpful.
