What is happiness?

the reason why I ask this question is that I've been asked and asked a few folks. I'm just interested in getting feedback from as many people as I can to answer this question. It seems easy, but might take up some time for you to respond to it.

You need to read "Happiness is overrated" by Angelo Beliotti. It is an easy read and a "must" in my opinion if you are looking to understand "happiness". Cheers!

happiness is surrounding yourself with the people you love and who make you feel good about yourself. you will have a great time, go out and have fun, if you are a Christian, happiness is found in God, as well.

if not, follow my advice. surround yourself with your loved ones. its a guaranteed boost.

Well, I think people have different facets, in terms of interpretation of happiness. To me, I have my own definition of happiness, which will be unexpected exhuberent encounters in life, happiness is what fulfills my inner state of mind, instead of receiving external rewards that will merely sustain circumscribed pleasant sentiment.

I dont think there would be a fixed, settled definition in happiness. I just would like to compile as many feedbacks as possible regarding my question as a reference for my future psychology study.
