It will partly depend on security protocol at your place of work (whether or not they want anyone having access to files from a remote location.) Software-wise, Dropbox (www.getdropbox.com) is a free program that will synchronize files between multiple PCs. You could install it on both your home and work PCs, and it will create a special shared folder. Anything placed in that folder will be viewable from home or work.

Alternatively, you can use a service such as Logmein (logmein.com) to access your work PC from the Internet. I wrote about such services in a hub just the other day, you can view it here: http://hubpages.com/hub/Remotely-Access-Your-PCs-O
