If we have one source ~ letting go of all the ideas of space and time travelers ~ what is it?
Our being has to have come from so where ~ where is that somewhere? There must be a purpose, motive and intent to our being. There must be an end, means and way of deriving the answer. Everything has an expression, form and function. What is it that evolves, creates and perfects us? It is not God; God is a term for everything it does.

There need not be meaning for everything, meaning is the act of personification (Any thing has meaning because we gave it that meaning). There is no reason to believe that "our being" originates from anywhere other than the universe, we can dream but the universe is as far we can rationally get.
