Sedona Arizona. I love hiking in the mountains and taking the jeep tours through the mountains. It is a center for health and healing. Try the Cowboy Club. It serves Elk and buffalo. Delicious!
About two hours drive to the north is the Hopi reservation. The drive there is spectacular, through canyons and winding roads. Visiting the Hopi is a journey back in time. Many natives on first an third mesas live without electricity and plumbing. Their crafts are lasting momentos of yur trip. Take cash when yu go there. For most, selling their crafts is their only support.

Hey trek! Great question! No doubt it has to be the San Jauns. From Durango to Ouray to Telluride and everything in between! To expand that the four corners and 200 miles in any direction. Peace.
