Why do women & girls love the color Pink?

Pink makes people feel warm, comfortable and romantic. I suppose every girl enjoys being loved and protected.

Sorry to offend, but I don't like pink. Actually, it upsets my stomach to look at it - the lighter the pink, the worse it is for me.

Even I am wondering . Is it because they are soft in nature like the light colour.

It sounds like you have a very feminine wife. Pink is a colour which represents femininity, it starts from when we're born, cute little pink outfits, and as we grow up, pink lipstick and high-heels. You can feel proud to have such a feminine woman in your life.

I think girls just like pink because thats how society decided it would be .

boy= blue

If it would have been the opposite, im sure your wife would be buying blue!

I guess it's because pink is one of the least "aggressive" while at the same time being "colorful." I would like to see a test done on babies to see if they prefer a certain color based on their gender. Other wise it is perhaps the result of social conditioning.

It is such a pretty feminine colour, very girlie. It was also the 'in' colour for last season. There seems a lot of purple in style now, so maybe she'll start buying purple/lilac?
