There are 3 workouts that come to mind:

1. Tabata Method - grab two dumbells and do as many squat and presses as possible in 20 seconds, rest for 10 seconds and repeat. As fast as possible, with good form of course. Repeat 7-10 times, with the right weight and you will be smoked!

2. A full body circuit that involves all 5 movement patterns. Squat, Lunge, Push, Pull, Bend, Twist and gait (run) For example: Weighted squat, dips, chin ups, deadlift, cable chops and a 30 second run. I do 8-12 reps each and do 5 rounds as fast as possible. Have some juice ready, because your blood sugar may drop....

3. Sprints. Short (50 yards, all out). Now if you are a desk jockey and dont workout, DO NOT START with these. Sprinting is highly effective, but needs to be started gradually or your will hurt yourself. At the same time, if you are in shape, adding sprints will help you lean out incredibly fast.

For fat burning you require a hard labor when your heart bit must increase. That is possible if you can run non stop or swim in a swimming pool non stop for fifteen minutes.

Go for jogging for 15mts. That may burn some calories. Make it regularise.Review after 15 days.

However, given that the total intake of calories equals less than the total burn within a given period fat stores will be consumed. Consider your basal metabolic rate along with any other fitness activities to calculate total caloric burn. All excess calories end up stored as fat, this is the body's storage system. Fat is more dense than carbs and protein, making fat a more efficient storage mechanism. Watch the calories an sugar/carbs if your day is sedentary, and feed fitness with protein to rebuild damaged muscle tissue from vigorous workouts. Consider long, steady workouts to burn fat without getting into a rote routine.
