Why do so many people dislike their spouses?

commitment? I think they have to work together to make the situation better. If both of them are willing, this can be accomplished, but if one or both just wants out they should get out. We are responsible for our happiness.

It is for the sake of the children. I hate my spouse more then I love her. But I don't want no other men around my children because I have girls. So I commit my self to my marriage even though I dislike my spouse. I wish it was a better way.

It's called insecurity.......and insecurity does not stop and start at your personal shi* it involves so many aspects of your life and those that you "have involved". When one is secure regardless of what is involved that individual knows how to move on regardless of the situation and what is involved. You can still be intensely involved in your childrens lives. It's called unconditional commitment and Love. Why would you continue to stay in a toxic situation if it has deemed itself toxic. Why would you poison yourself with something that is obviously poisonous. It's a matter of common sense and letting go! Forget about finances, it can never restore happiness or the mental state of mind that is needed to continue life productively as well as happy. Don't get me wrong, sometimes in certain situations sacrifices must and will be made!!!
