Hamsters have a gestational period of 16-22 days depending on variety. After about the 10th or 11th day you should begin noticing her abdomen tightening and enlarging. You might also notice a bit of a change in her behavior she might become jumpy or nervous and possibly building a nest. If you suspect that she is pregnant or notice these symptoms it is best that you provide her with extra bedding materials, handle her less so she doesn't stress out and start a higher protein diet.
