IS BECAUSE THE PEOPLE IS NOT HAPPY THEY ARE LOOKING A RESPONSE IN RELIGIONS, BELIEVING IN A KINGDOM

Some people believe that we have a god gene that inherently makes us turn to a higher power.

Historically we seem to label out leaders as "chosen by gon" it makes us feel better knowing that a divine person is leading us rather than just a smart one.

I don't believe that it is unhappiness that draws us to god. I've seen many atheists who were happy and devout ones sad. What makes people lean towards a belief in god is the search for answers. If we believe someone is talking to god than we'll believe they know what we should be doing.

For people who are able to take a step back they realize that we are no different than a deer hypnotized by bright lights of moths who direct themselves towards the light of the moon.

We evolved and won our survival as a species because we were able to do one thing Neanderthal man wasn't. We gravitated toward communal living and co-operation for survival. We had art and we believed that our leaders were supreme. This evolution let us survive then but it left us with a feeling in divinity. It's up to each individual on how they interpret what divine means and if truly brings them happiness.
