Well if you have any technical experience in you then this is simple, take the remote and disassemble it, assuming that you can't get another one and are bored. there is a little silver pad that the button pushes down on that makes contact with the control board, sometimes these little pads move come out of place, easy fix, take some scotch tape and put it back over the correct spot on the board. hope that this answered your question.
