A quick, wonderful way to have your home smelling fresh and clean if you don't have diffusers and essential oils (or if you suffer from allergies and breathing difficulties), is to place the grated peels from lemons, oranges, or other citrus fruits into a sauce pan of water and let it simmer for about an hour. Your house will smell lovely! Just be sure to monitor the pan so that the water does not evaporate off too low and turn the burner off!
