It depends on your needs. If you have a super lot of music, you probably want the classic because it stores a crazy amount of music. If you only have a library of less than 1000 songs, the nano is a great choice. If you like to play games and browse the web and basically be more connected, the touch is great. Finally, if you don't need anything fancy, have not very many songs and don't care what you listen to or when you listen to it, the shuffle is a great, cheap choice.
