His empty tomb was found by his followers (Apostles)[2] and he appeared to many people over a span of forty days[Acts 1:3] before his return to heaven,[Acts 1:9-10] from where he later spoke to Saul/Paul the Apostle on the road to Damascus. Wikipedia

Acts 9:1-6 1Meanwhile, Saul was still breathing out murderous threats against the Lord's disciples. He went to the high priest 2and asked him for letters to the synagogues in Damascus, so that if he found any there who belonged to the Way, whether men or women, he might take them as prisoners to Jerusalem. 3As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. 4He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, "Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?"
5"Who are you, Lord?" Saul asked.
"I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting," he replied. 6"Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do."....

It is plainly written that he did raise from the dead and did stay with the apostles for a while before he ascended to heaven.
Just as in school you study and believe what is being taught as we have faith in those who wrote it, the same thing goes for the Bible.
A M Werner says
Faith is the substance of things hoped for - Our Hope is in the resurrection. As it states in 1 Corinthians Chapter 15, if the resurrection is not true, then our preaching and faith is in vain and we are the most miserable. BUT. . . if not . . .
Educated people who doubt the resurrection and the Bible don't really understand how much faith they exhibit in scientist and historians. How many things have been taught to students for ages, and by faith in the historians it was believed - and then proven wrong.
The educated like to have lots of facts and figures, and many times, these prove false and misguided - and thus the conclusions were just a faith. And yet, they thought it wiser to believe because there was so much more to go on.
Just because you have alot to go on - doesn't make it true. And just because you have the word of only a few witnesses, doesn't make it false.
Faith is what you want to believe - what your heart and soul and spirit knows is true. No education, or apparent facts and figures can change the truth inside.
Yahshua rose from the dead.

Scripture notes that he rose from the dead and was touched by witness as well as seen by many witnesses, eating and ascending into heaven. Also I believe there is much archeological evidence with his tomb and in Israel.

Because:
1) He was The Lamb slain before the foundation of the world i.e. promised by the Godhead to be our Saviour long before man was created.
2) God cannot lie.
3) The men of religion asked Him for a sign and the only sign He would give them was the sign of Jonah i.e. that just as Jonah was in the belly of the fish for three days and three nights so would He be in the heart of the soil (in His Tomb) for three days and three nights. He fulfilled this sign.
4) We also know that His resurrection occurred because the Jews tried everything in their power to hush it up including the sealing of the tomb door.
PS Good Friday to Sunday morning is just another mainstream Christian lie, 'cos it ain't three days and three nights!!

History tells us that almost all of the disciples of Jesus died a gruesome death for spreading the gospel after He was crucified and subsequently rose from the dead. It is not very likely that the disciples, or anyone for that matter, would be willing to die in such a manner for a lie.

If you read the Bible and pray on what you've read the answer will be clear. You will feel the Holy Spirits presence confirming that what is written is true.
All the answers here are good but you must have faith in God and accept Jesus as your savior. Then the more you read the more is revealed. God Bless.

If "we" in your question refers to people in general, then of course, the majority will NOT believe Jesus Christ rose from the dead!
Conversely, you CANNOT be "born again" by God the Spirit if you do NOT believe that Jesus Christ rose from the dead!
Belief in His resurrection is paramount to saving faith - for eternal life rest on this fact that Jesus Christ has indeed, rose from the dead!
