Can bergamot oil be used for the MRSA virus?

I have a problem with scratches becoming infected do to the MRSA bacteria that inhabits my skin. No matter how often I use antibiotic cream and keep the scratches or lesions as clean as I possibly can. I still end up with bad looking sores. Most antibiotic injections I get when I visit my personal physician work for a little while, but the sores come back with a vengance.

Upon looking up information on Bergamot Oil, I found this helpful...

Precautions

Bergamot oil can cause burns when used on a sensitive skin which is then exposed to sunlight, as the high content of bergaptene can cause photo-toxicity. It is advisable to keep out of the sun if this oil is used on the skin.

Even when the ingredient Bergaptene (Furocoumarin) is removed from the oil and photo toxicity is therefore minimized, it is still advisable to keep treated skin out of the sun, and to use it in concentrations of less than 1 %.

Therapeutic properties

The therapeutic properties of bergamot oil include analgesic, antidepressant, antiseptic, antibiotic, anti-spasmodic, stomachic, calmative, cicatrisant, deodorant, digestive, febrifuge, vermifuge and vulnerary

I suffered MRSA back in 2005. It was not on top of the skin in the form of blisters though, it was internal in my right knee.

I have used several essential oils in my lifetime, and have had much success. If I were you, I would look up some informoation and maybe speak to a specialist at~

We've had success with Tea Tree essential oil. An open surgical wound flourishing with MRSA bacteria closed in thirty six hours. Give it a try.
