My idea for a great night sleep is to keep the room cool and the bed warm. This way you feel as though you are wrapped in warmth amongst the cold, making you feel safe.

When the body heats up the heart slows down causing sleepiness. So yes it does help, some people take a warm bath before bed to help them sleep.
Hope this was helpful,

Dear Teri, My wife likes it so warm she sweats! She sleeps just fine. Me, on the other hand, likes it very cool vergeing on cold. For 33yrs we have quite happily fought over control of the thermostat. Don't get me started on the road map! Good question!
