How do you make doctors not prescribe to someone who is over medicated and won't stop theirselves
My mother has been playing different Dr.;s for narcotics,and even when they became aware of this because of family and other reasons,they still continue to give those scripts to her.The whole family has been concerned.Any attempt to tell her results in denial and anger.And because of it somehow being legal authorities we have asked,say there is nothing they can do.

of course it is going to result in anger, you are cramping her style! She knows exactly what she is doing and the doctors maybe can't do anything about it. She has a history of having this drug prescribed so who is going to believe a family member over a patient who is in need of their 'meds'. I experienced something like this with a "friend" once and it made me very upset as well as angry because i thought i was helping her by taking her to the doctor to get her medicine while instead I was being used for transportation so that she could get her 'meds" to sell. It really sickened me to know that someone would stoop so low..................sometimes people have to fall on their own face by themselves to wake up. I dont think there is nothing that you can do.
