Does anyone know how licensing works for a Windows server?
Setting up a Server for the first time and thinking of using Windows 2008, not sure on how many CAL licenses or what we'll need.

The Windows licensing works for either a fixed license or simultaneous connection license. For example: a 10 user license may restrict access to 10 individuals or it may include 5 individuals + 5 devices. It all depends on the wording of the license.
