Are there any natural remedies that help or prevent you from feeling sea sick?

Ginger is an excellent choice. Ginger root has long been used to aid with motion sickness. Fresh ginger root grated and steeped in a tea for 15-20 minutes, then drained is a good answer for various stomach upsets. However, this is not entirely practical! You can find capsules in health food and herb stores and this is a much more convenient method.

Ginger is the best choice by far. I know here in Australia you can buy ginger in the form of sweet, uncrystallised pieces. This is nice to eat while travelling. See what you can find where you live.

Ginger is the best remedy, and comes in capsules and as an essential oil. I have also used peppermint essential oil. You may also like sea bands. They are small wrist bands you wear that have a small knob that is placed on a pressure point. I use these all the time.
