Do you know where to learn about the philosophy of Teillhard d'Chardin
I've read quotes from and references to the work of a rench Jesuit Priest called Teillhard D'Chardin that sounded interesting. Do you know if any of his work is published in English or where I might be able to learn more?

Kephira,
Sir at this time I have not researched Teillhard d' Chardin. However, it is a challenge I would gladly attempt to try and discover more should you allow me the time.
Once I have researched I will share with you more insight.
Thankyou for your hub request.
I will do my best.

Why would you want to 'learn' anything from a son of the Devil?
Do you not know that Hitler modelled his Gestapo on the Jesuits and that they have been thrown out of more countries than I have had hot dinners!!??
Here's what The Lord through Paul said about blaspheming philosophers:
Col 2:8 (KJV) Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
For philosophy read babbling intellectual numb skulls who know diddly squat.

His philosophy likely has some truth mixed in with some non-truth. When reading any philosophy/philosopher, never forget to keep "fact" separate from "truth".
A statement of fact requires an inexhaustible amount of energy to disprove. Therefore, one who disbelieves it requires an inexhaustible amount of energy to reason with. For example, try arguing with someone who doubts that 1 + 1 = 2.
A statement of truth is a conclusion based on 0 or more facts. The more facts under your conclusion, the stronger your truth.
If you can, I challenge you to be objective, with truth vs fact in mind, while reading d'Chardin's work. If your fact to truth ratio is low, I wouldn't be surprised.
Finally, since you're under the broad category of Christianity, I challenge you to treat the first 4 books of the New Testament with the same objective truth vs fact mindset. I and many others have found, the supported truths are quite satisfying.
