Women are not allowed to step forward.....Do you agree?

I can only speak about the world that I know. I work as a teacher, and women are really the leaders in this field. So, in my career, gender doesn't hinder me at all. As far as corporate America, I don't really know. I do know too many working moms seem to belittle and look down on stay at home moms. That is a shame, raising kids is a very important job.

Of course women are allowed to step forward. Why wouldn't we be? Its simple logic. We're equal to men, we're people just like them.

When feminists whinge about women not stepping up in politics and really competitive industries, well, first of all, we've had the right for several years. And the ones who do get involve in such industries are very good at it - but most other women may comment on their ambitious or powerful nature, maybe even cold. That is not to say that women in such industries are bad people, goodness no!

However, let me just take it from my perspective. I want to be a journalist, a pretty damn competitive industry. I want to be good at it, too. However, I also want a family, probably more than anything else. And when the kids come round, I want to be the one at home to take care of them and watch my kids grow up, and when they hit kindergarten age, go back to my job.

My point is that most women have an innate desire to be the carer for the family and children. It's not wrong to not want such a life, and its not wrong if you do. There is nothing shameful about being a house-mum, and there's nothing shameful about being a competitive worker in politics. Who the hell would think they have the right to tell a person otherwise? That would be discrimination, right?

What a lot of people don't realise is that women actually have now more options than men in such a respect. Most stay-at-home dads are looked down upon. Most men are expected to be the provider for the family, and that's their role. Women have the option of being a housewife, a house-mum, having a part time job, having a full time job, having whatever they want! Men have to work to support their wife and/or family. Women got it easy!

Balance in life is the key to happiness - that balance is different for everyone. But once you find it, you'll never look back. Do what you want, and get what you want out of life and don't let anyone tell you that you can't.

Who told? Starting from home , they have not left any field in leading. Even women prooved as better administrator, better leader, better politician. Not even now, since old ages everything happened because of women.Anything destroyed because of women. So, I can't allow using the word women are not allowed . They are really leading and responsible.

I do not expect other question about men . Is it ok?
