How do you play Farmville on Facebook?

Real easy.You must plow first and the select the vegetable you want to plant Start planting crops. When they are ready to harvest, go to the market place to sell them for coins. The more coins, the more you can buy such as houses, fences, animals, ect. when you progress enough, you can go to the maket place to hire fellow farmers to plow, or harvest for you. As you progress, more kinds of vegetables are unlocked that are more profitable. Starts out real slow at first, but once you get going, you earn big $$. Hope this helps. Yes it is addicting.

Welp...I'm a fellow addict of farmville. I have a very brown thumb and this way I can have a green one. I always wanted one so I do it virtually. I believe the game that jimcain is talking about is Farmtown. That is the one where you can hire others to harvest for you. The only thing you can do in farmville is go help out your neighbors farm.

You can set up your farm anyway you would like. You can plant veggies within in your time limits. For example if you know you will be checking your FB in the morning and evening, you can plant something that will be fully grown in 12 hours. Then reap your coins and buy more seeds and vehicles if you like. I'm saving my coins to get my mansion :)
