Why is one investing in foreign country instead of his nation?

One would invest in other countries because they want diversification, or they want the relative safety of having some of their assets away from the reach of their own country's government.

American investors, as with all investors, look to make the most money and it's not here in the USA....anymore.

Another possibility could be that the other country offers better growth / stability options.

Because they get more profit and the financial conditions of those country is better for business growth
